Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist
Spectrum
Environmental Sciences, Inc. has an immediate opening for a mid-to senior level
professional to provide air quality permitting and compliance services to
Federal, State, and industrial clients. In addition, this position will include
business development for Federal and State air quality services as well as
proposal and bid package development.
Position Description:

Air permitting
with Federal, State, and Industrial clients
-
Permitting and
environmental compliance associated with industrial and government
activities
-
Knowledge of
Federal and State of Maryland environmental regulations essential
-
Ability to
prepare Federal and State bid packages
Requirements:
-
A minimum of 5 years
experience
-
Master of Science
degree in Engineering or Environmental Science or related area preferred or
Bachelor of Science degree with experience
-
Experience with
Maryland DOT Modal/ Engineering support contracts desired
-
Professional
certifications or a P.E. highly desired
-
Ability to win and do work
-
Strong management capabilities
-
Excellent written
and verbal skills required

Working knowledge
of MS Office Applications

Knowledge of Clean Air Act

environmental scientist/engineer in our Frederick, Maryland, office. A
successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited
4-year university, at least 5 years relevant professional experience, and the
availability to travel approximately 6 weeks per year (non-consecutive).
Preferred work experience includes the following:
- Project Management
- Facility Management Plans (e.g., SPCC,
SWPPP, FRP)
- Regulatory Compliance Assistance and
Auditing
- Environmental Permitting
- Experience with Maryland Department of
Transportation, is a plus
